Driving Directions

Montessori Fountainhead Elementary is located in downtown Charleston, at 278-A Meeting Street between George Street and Society Street.

From Mt. Pleasant

Cross the Arthur Ravenel Bridge, and take the Meeting Street exit. Continue on Meeting Street, and watch for the Montessori Fountainhead building on your left, between the Jantzen Lock Co. and the Bicycle Shop. The building is a historic, three-story, yellow house set back from the street. Park in the driveway directly in front of the building.

From West Ashley/James Island/Johns Island

Once you cross the Ashley River onto the Peninsula, turn right onto Calhoun Street. Follow Calhoun Street to Meeting Street, turn right onto Meeting Street, continue through one traffic light (George Street), and watch for the Montessori Fountainhead building on your left, between the Jantzen Lock Co. and the Bicycle Shop. The building is a historic, three-story, yellow house set back from the street. Park in the driveway directly in front of the building.

From North Charleston

Take I-26 East, and take the Meeting Street exit (which is basically the end of I-26). Continue on Meeting Street, and watch for the Montessori Fountainhead building on your left, between the Jantzen Lock Co. and the Bicycle Shop. The building is a historic, three-story, yellow house set back from the street. Park in the driveway directly in front of the building.
